Obamacare Reality Check - Migraine VS Birth Control

Over the past several months, we have heard all of the press surrounding birth control coverage under Obamacare.  Several private owned Christian based companies have argued against the provision in Obamacare which forces businesses to cover certain types of birth control.  These types include primarily - post sex medications or "morning after" drugs.

We have heard the college students crying about how these companies are infringing on their freedom and their ability to live a happy life.  I have never purchased women's birth control but I understand the cost can be relatively low - $18.  Again, never purchased, but this is what I have read.  Of course, condoms are also relatively inexpensive.  Sure, you can find them over $30/dozen, but at this price, they should put themselves on.  Either way, at $18 to $30 per month, I would expect this to be an important part of a date and therefore, relatively inexpensive compared to dinner and move.

Now, I have been a migraine sufferer for most of my life.  Those who suffer migraines understand the amount of pain and other symptoms which are associated with a migraine.  They range from inconvenient to debilitating.  For me, most of my migraines are seriously debilitating.  At their worst, I cannot look at a computer screen, any amount of light causes intense pain, and driving is dangerous as my vision and reaction time are terribly affected.

During doctor visits over the course of my life I have been prescribed just about every migraine medicine known to mankind with little, if any, positive effect.  In fact, as long as I can remember I have been unable to commit to attending work or family related events because most days will end with a migraine headache.

While having a sleep study about one year ago, I arrived at the scheduled time to begin prepping for the study.  I had a mild headache when I arrived, but knew by the onset that it could progress to a major headache.  Within a short time after falling asleep, I semi-awoke in severe - cannot move my head or touch a pillow or think - type of pain.  By semi-awoke, I do not normally fully wake up, but am half awake through the night.  I am conscious of the pain and have even heard myself moaning or crying in pain, but I am not fully awake.  This may last for the entire night or I may drift in and out of a full sleep.  Either way, the night is not pleasant.  Anyway, this was one of those horrible nights.  I was aware of the headache and the pain, but I thought someone came in the room and did something, but assumed it was my imagination.  I woke up without the headache, which was unusual.

When I spoke to the doctor about the sleep study, he asked me if I had a headache.  I told him I did.  He mentioned that he had given me a medicine to help with the pain.  Not remembering much, I assumed it was a shot of some kind.  I jokingly told the doctor to give me some to take home.  He asked if it worked.  I told it had and based on how bad my head hurt, it worked great.  The doctor told me it was a new medicine and he would give me a prescription to try.

This medicine turned out to be a virtual magical drug.  It has not killed every migraine, but it eliminates most headaches or at least reduces the severity.  This past Christmas was the first time in many years, that I stayed late with my family and enjoyed myself.  I am finally getting to where I can commit to doing things at night, knowing that if I have a headache starting, I can knock it out relatively fast.  On the bad side, with insurance, the cost of this medicine is $5 per dose.  I do not take it for every headache but only for the most debilitating.  I average 2-5 headache days each week, which can be one very long headache or 20 short headaches.  I may go one or two weeks without taking this medicine or I may take it three times during bad weeks.

Little did I know that when My doctor gave me a refill for 24 doses last November, that this would be the last time I could get this medicine.  During my last doctor visit, he ordered a refill from Express Scripts.  The pharmacy cancelled the prescription.  I thought it was a mistake, so I called the doctor and asked him to try again, which he did.  Again, the prescription was cancelled.  I called the pharmacy and asked what was going on.  They told me I used my maximum benefit for this medicine.  Without warning, I was cut-off.  They did not call the doctor and ask him to come up with an alternative, they did not call me and offer me a chance to pay out of pocket, they just cancelled - TWICE!!!

This has never happened before and it is clearly one of the steps taken by companies to prepare for the next step in the Obamacare mess, which has conveniently been delayed until after the election.  What is troubling to me is how insurance companies and our government, consider birth control to be vitally important, so much that every type of birth control must be covered.  This is a medicine which allows people to have sex - unprotected and/or irresponsible sex!  Yet, a medicine that often makes a difference whether I can function or not, this is not important and should not be covered.  This is messed up in ways I cannot express without becoming incredibly angry.

Tomorrow I will call my doctor for the third time.  This time I will ask him to call in the prescription to Walgreens and I will pay the $25 per dose price, out of pocket.  At the end of the day, my ability to function is worth coughing up $600 for another 24 doses.  However, do not expect any sympathy from me for a college slut who cries because her life is disrupted, i.e; she will have to pay $18 to have sex anytime she wants; while I am praying to die next time I have to sleep sitting on the edge of my bed because it hurts my head to touch, well, anything.

If this is how Obamacare will prioritize medical care in our nation, we are in for more trouble that we originally thought.

World At War III!

Once again, the President has drawn a line in the sand.  Yesterday, as Obama traveled to Korea, he ran his mouth and told Russia's Vlad Putin to pick up his marbles and get out of Ukraine.  To back him up, John Kerry told Putin to get out of Ukraine or pay the price. For the past 7 years, Obama has traveled the globe telling our enemies that they better not cross his line.

In the 2012 campaign, Mitt Romney told anyone listening that the world had become a very dangerous place.  We had a cyber threat coming from China, Russia was warming up to Iran and yes, Iran was very close to developing nuclear weapons.  What is happening today, we knew about only two short years ago.  Then we had Obama, with his smug, cocky, gang banger attitude, smirking at Romney, telling us how "these guys want to win by trying to scare the American people".  Obama said that Iran was not even close to having the bomb and relations with Russia were going swimmingly.

Well, fast forward to today.  We have Putin and several thousand of his hired guns, poised to expand into Ukraine.  The only thing stopping him is Obama, with his gang banger threats.  The same empty threats that have gang bangers killing each other in the streets of Chicago.  The problem is, the gang bangers in Chicago are cowards who run when anyone with a little bit of power or strength confront them.  Similarly, Obama runs anytime someone "bigger" confronts him.  Sure, he is the cock of the walk now.  He feels confident with his posse (Germany, France) behind him.  But Germany and France and Japan and Ukraine, when called to arms, will be no different that his buddies from the streets of Chicago.  Germany will say, "I know we promised to help, but that was before we had to start planning Oktoberfest, but we'll be rooting for you".  Then France will say, "Obama, you fool!  Why would you take us serious, you know we never fight.  Not even to save our own country, don't you read history books?"  Then Japan will say, "Help?  Yeah right.  China will kick our butt."  Of course, Ukraine will say, "We didn't fight before, why would we start now?  If you need us, we'll be on vacation in Italy, just clean up after yourself when you leave our country".

The way I see it, one of two things will happen very soon.  Obama will have the biggest slap to his face as Russia defies his weak threats and invades Ukraine, marking the beginning of some very bad times, throughout the globe!  The other possibility, a much more cynical, yet very real turn of events; this is all part of a staged event.  Hear me out...

Remember during the last election when Obama was making promises to Putin in front of a "hot" mike?  Presumably, Obama and Putin were plotting an alliance, of sorts. We all know how the president is seen as weak and powerless throughout the world.  If Putin needs the president to be strong to push their agenda, how better to build strength then to create a new "Ukranian Missile Crisis"?  If my conspiracy theory is correct, Putin will back down, giving Obama a new shot of testosterone and rebuilding some of his lost credibility.  The world and the nation will rally behind Obama and the democrats and the election of 2014 will go to the democrats, sealing the fate of the US Congress and the future of the Constitution.

In either case, Obama is still an idiot because he will fool only his current followers and maybe a few new people.  In both examples, the world will become a much more dangerous place.  We know this is the beginning of WWIII.  The only thing we do not know at this time is where WWIII will start.  Will it start in Ukraine or the USA?

It's Not The Economy, It's The Words, Stupid!

A form of the title statement, believed by some, to be the turning point in the 1992 election.  Bill Clinton was not a genius but he was a master at making others think he was.  Bill Clinton had a way of making people feel stupid.  He was expert at making people think they needed him, and though he did not create the "verbal yo-yo", he deserves all of the credit for perfecting it.  Subsequently, each liberal to follow him has customized this art of phraseology to suit their own selfish needs.

What is a verbal yo-yo?  This is what I call it when a liberal lodges a false accusation about their opponent, to the media.  The media runs the story before checking the integrity, only to pull the story when the facts are presented by the accused.  The liberal accuser then calls a press conference, usually on a Friday evening or the weekend, when nobody is paying attention, to retract the statement and offer "sincere apologies".  For any liberals reading this, a yo-yo is a toy.  If you a detailed description, google it.  Leaking the false statement is the first part of the "yo" and taking it back is the other part, ie; let it go and pull it back.  The verbal part references the spoke word.  I will write slower from here, so you can keep up.

You see, what everyone knows is that once the accusation is made public, whether true or not, the public will only remember the first story they heard, thereby missing or bypassing the apology, the truth and ultimately, justice.

As I said, most people know about this tactic but for most of history, failed to use it because it is not only a verbal yo-yo, it is also a verbal kick in the groin.  In other words, it is considered dirty fighting, cheap and unprofessional.

So you wonder why I am talking about Bill Clinton in 2014?  Well, as I said, Bill Clinton made this tactic an art-form, but Obama has taken it to a completely new level.  If you watch closely, you will watch the head form on this beast.  However, in the interest of time, I will break it down for you.  Now understand, I will only touch on two of many yo-yo's, but they are very closely related and extremely dangerous.

It started with Obama convincing the weak minded among us that only government can provide the healthcare American's need and deserve.  Of course, the government has already mismanaged and bankrupted the Postal Service, Social Security, Fannie and Freddie Mac and the government, in general.  Yeah, they will admit some mistakes - Obama himself said, "you don't understand, technology is hard", but I guess healthcare is different.  This is where the government will shine.  Don't let the fact that the program has already over-run it's budget ten times over, cause you to lose faith in your federal government's ability to manage more of your money.  The program will practically run itself, just wait.

When questioned by his opposition about the unprecedented failure of Obamacare's rollout,  Obama and his cronies accused conservatives of being against health coverage for poor Americans.  This of course, has progressed to all conservatives being racists.  Obama himself said in a speech this past week, that "we" are being held down by white males.  I am not sure if it is modesty, ignorance or deceit on Obama's part, but the last time I checked, the President of the United  States is still the most powerful person in the world - not exactly what I would call, held back.  Perhaps however, Obama is not content with the most powerful position in the world.  Maybe he is now looking to take the job from the highest and most powerful in the universe.

Anyway, in classic fashion, as the healthcare fight begins to lose steam, Obama will be throwing out new racist charges with no chance of rebuttal by the opposition.  It is during this time that Obama starts a new fire to divert attention from all he is doing to undermine our Constitution.  The fire in this case is Obama's charge of racism.  Obama is now tossing his next yo-yo, - if you are male, Christian and white, you are racist by default.  These charges will fly and increase for the next few months as the 2014 election approaches.  Around August, if the charges do not begin to grow roots, something will happen related to this charge, requiring Obama to apologize.  He will do so very sincerely, or as sincere as he can.  It will not matter though, by this time he will have convinced enough people of our racist white population, to sway and very likely, turn the election in his favor.

Just today, I heard a person on the radio supporting Harry Reid's statement that the militia's and all who are supporting Cliven Bundy in the Nevada standoff, that they are all domestic terrorists.  He said that all militia members are racists and said, "it is in their charters".  Some people will believe this person without checking, other people who have read the Constitution at least one time, know that each state has a right to form a militia to protect it's people from a tyrannical federal government. The federal government is not allowed to exert it's power on the people without the use of local authorities, yet the BLM is exerting and killing, both people and cattle.  The federal government is not allowed to own land or businesses, yet it is forcibly removing people from their land and taking over businesses - GM, for example.

The federal government has overstepped it's bounds, plain and simple.  The person on the radio said 200 million people agree with Harry Reid and what the government is doing as it is for the greater good.  I tremble in anger at the thought that this person may be right.  The Constitution does not protect the government against it's loyal citizens, the Constitution protects it's citizens against a tyrannical government coupe.

At the end of the day, we are witnessing with our very eyes, the repeal of our liberty and Constitutional rights - a government led coupe.  We are watching the government take the land and rights from it's citizens.  We are watching as the government punishes those who speak against this President.  Because we are greedy and selfish, we will allow our rights to be stripped away and talk of protest or rebellion is considered treason.  Treason is when a person turns against his nation, his Constitution; to give power to it's enemies.  The people in Mesquite, Nevada are using the words of our forefathers to defend their position.  The government on the other hand, has spoken against the American people and their Constitutional rights.  Who is really guilty of treason?  Reid?  Obama?  Or is it the man who's family has worked hard to build a farm -a business for more than 100 years?  The argument of the man's cattle grazing on federal land is invalid since the government, by law, does not have the right to own this land.

Bill Clinton was not a genius, but by his very statement, he called you stupid, and proved it by telling you what to believe, then watching you fall in line.  Obama took the lead from Clinton except Obama will not watch you fall in line, he will force you, at gunpoint, to submit.  The Old American, the one we know and love, was built by people who worked hard through the day to feed their families, and toiled by candlelight at night to create a Declaration of Independence, and later, our Constitution, all because they were tired of tyranny.   The new America, build by people who rely on government to feed their families, because they do not, or cannot get out of bed because they toiled all night in their gang banger crack houses or prison cells, creating new laws encouraging dependency and a tyrannical government.

If you are a true American, you will fight the evil which is forcing it's way into our government and our homes.  This will be done through the media with the use of the verbal yo-yo.  I can only hope that this yo-yo will work like the toys I used as a kid.  When I released the yo-yo, it hit the bottom and stayed on the bottom, so I threw it away.  We can hope that it will only need it to fail with Obama one time before it is no longer used by him and his group.

How's This For a Job???

• You have a job where you can ha.g with your company's arch enemy.
• In this job, you can spend as much money as you want, in fact, TRILLIONS more than your company earns.
• You can lie, cheat and steal from your boss - and KEEP YOUR JOB!
• You can travel the world in luxury for business, pleasure or just because your wife says so.
• You have the best health care in the world, but expect your boss to settle for much less.
• You can kill some of your best employees in cold blood AND LAUGH IT OFF!!!
• You can be the most incompetent manager the company has ever had AND still win praise of half of your employees; only because you have the same skin color and for NO other reason!
• You can hold a position for which you are not at all qualified.  In fact, for any reasonable person reading the rules, you are NOT ALLOWED to hold this job.

No, this is not the fantasy of a person on hallucinogenic drugs, but is the apparent job description of our Commander in Contempt! 

• His friendship with Jeremiah Wright and Bill Ayers, both enemies of democracy, combined with his questionable soft, bordering on sympathetic treatment of Al Qaeda; leaves this person questioning Obama's allegiance.
• Don't get me wrong, George H.W Bush and George W. Bush spent a lot of money, as did Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton.  But nobody spent money at the rate of this President, NOBODY!!!
• "You can keep your doctor", "you can keep your plan",  I will not rest until we find the people that killed our citizen's, 'I have tried to work with the Republican's", and on and on and on.  The only thing this man can say that I wouldn't question would be, "I am a lying piece of Al Qaeda loving crap".  We are his boss and as his boss, I find his poor morality, lack of integrity and credibility to be unacceptable and beyond contempt.
• If he spent half as much time trying to fix our nation's problems as he spends playing golf, well, you do the math.
• American's must accept Obamacare, yet neither the President nor Congress is required to join this wonderful plan.  Speaking for myself, if I have a party where I will be serving 70% lean burgers and 90% lean burgers, I am not going to eat the 70% while my guests eat 90%.  
• Benghazi - What did he know, when did he know it...and where was he while it was going on?  If a soldier dies by the hands of our enemy, its terrible.  If a soldier dies by the hands of their Commander in Chief, it's murder and treason!
• If our nation's budget were that of a private company, we would be filing for bankruptcy every day of every week.  Our lights would long have been turned off and our doors would have closed.  When you have limitless funding, what's to stop you.  In the public sector, this is incompetence.  In most businesses, the manager of this business would be fired.  Because half of this man's bosses share his race and only because they share his race, they will not hold this man accountable no matter what he does.
• He has never held a "real" job nor has he ever managed anything bigger than getting out of bed, yet he is in charge of the largest "employer" in the world.
• Our Constitution states that only a natural citizen of the country may serve as President, yet he has not been required, despite evidence to the contrary, to prove his citizenship at birth.  In fact, he and many of his supporters have made a joke out of this request.  He became arrogant, angry and offended when asked to prove his citizenship.  If I had been in his position, I would not have a problem producing my long certificate of birth.  I would have found it an honor to be asked and would consider my failure to do so, offensive to the American people and an insult to the Constitution of the United States!

We may not live to know the truth, but this man has a job which many would love to have.  An American, proud and true however, would consider what this man has done, a slap in the face of liberty.  We will learn some day that this man is much worse than anyone could imagine.  Anyone but me, that is.  His true identity - his relationship with Al Qaeda, his U.S. citizenship or lack thereof, his drug use, not just what he has admitted to; and all of his other evils, will come to the surface.

Yes, this man has the job of all jobs, but the job he does most effectively is the snow job he is doing on the American people.  If I knew that like snow, piss would make him melt and disappear, pour me another cup of coffee and let me in front of the line!

The Shah of Iran, The Taliban, Saddam Hussein! And The Question Is?

Name three enemies of the US who were once, considered friends?

We obviously have issues with our judgement if these people are, or once were our friends.  I read on a conservative news site that our fight with Putin is misdirected.  The site went on to say that the rebels, the Ukrainians, who we are supporting, are the reincarnate of the Nazi movement.  Now, this is not to say that Putin is clean and sparkly, but supporting Nazi's, not a good idea.

Of course, I cannot simply take the word of one site, so I asked an employee, who is a permanent resident from Poland, for his opinion of the events taking place in Eastern Europe.  I asked what he was hearing from home.  He said Poland is not worried about Putin's motives, but went on to say that Ukraine is more wrong than right.  He said the people Ukraine and Estonia have more to worry about.  I asked if thought we were giving Ukraine enough support.  He said we should not be supporting at all and added that the people are nasty.  I asked him what he meant and he said, "Ukranians are Nazi's, they are not good people."

Our policy in this part of the world needs to be reviewed.  Are we getting involved to stop Russia or to make "ourselves" look good?  Our we doing this because it's the right thing to do or to give Obama another chance for a successfule legacy before he leaves office?  It would appear to me that we should investigate a little further before supporting, morally and/or financially, either side.  I think this is one time when we can have the opportunity to stop our enemy while we are still friends.

Will this be the first time Obama makes a positive move before he does more damage?  We'll see.
